    need suggestion

    hi,
    my profile is as follows

    GRE 295, v-141,q-154.
    aggregate 71% first class.

    i need to apply for information technology. i have short listed some university as follows.

    1. university of Texas at Dallas.
    2. university of Texas at Austin.
    3. northeastern university.
    4. Florida state university.
    5. university of Florida.

    kindly suggest me AJAY. whether the current score is ok to apply to this universities or i should take one more attempt.
    pls reply as soon as possible.

    UT Dallas might be moderate or ambi.
    UT Austin, in your dreams.
    Northeastern is gettable.
    FSU, not sure.
    UF, ambitious.

    With a GRE of 295 you can only expect an admit in Florida state university from the list that you have provided. To be frank thats not at all a good GRE in today's competitive world. You might have to retake it for the universities that you have listed but if you want an admit on this profile my preference would be UHCL

    thanks for the suggestions. can you please tell me what is the average gre score these universities needed to get admit that i have mentioned. i m retaking the test in September.

    try and get to score more than 315...upto 325 .. then u can expect to get an admit
