    Minor projects in VLSI design(both analog and digital)
    Intern for 2 months(Robotics)
    Another intern would be in core electronics company for 6 months (after dec 2012...wudn't be useful i guess)

    Applying for VLSI Design (analog prefarably).A vague interest in embedded systems

    I have sent scores to below four univs as part of GRE-most of them ambitious though...

    Ambitious? :-) ur profile is very good! Asu would be very safe for u...Purdue is gettable, as is gatech....tamu may be a stretch, but u should definitely push for it!

    As for ur others -

    Austin may be tough but not outta reach.
    Oregon and u mass are safe (and excellent for vlsi)
    Both the California unis would be a stretch (but u should definitely consider them).
    U Minnesota would be gettable again.

    Can I mention the intern that I am going to do in my SOP?? (Another intern would be in core electronics company for 6 months)..well it will boost my profile
    and do u know which univ practise rolling admissions ??..it wud be good to appy early u know

    Mention anything of relevance. Everything counts :-) as for rolling admits, I'm not sure. Sorry!

    Just check the electrical engineering websites of the colleges. It'll be put up
