    That's a very precise cgpa :-D

Ur profile is very good. Could u pls elaborate if u have any publishing/projects etc? Or maybe some internships?

As for ur chances (assuming u dont have publishing etc) -

    Penn state - moderate chances
    Georgia - moderate
Austin - very ambitious (without any publishing etc to show research inclination)
    Maryland - ditto
    Rutgers - gettable
    U Arizona - safe
    Asu - safe

U could try unis like northwestern, u Penn, Ohio state, u Minn, ucsd, ucsb, u Virginia, etc

    Thanks akshay for your response....

    Regarding papers/publishings/intern i don't have any...

But I was very active in participating in the Robotic events and won at multiple techfests... i don't know how much that would help in getting an admission..

I underwent an In-Plant Training at BHEL, but b'coz I will be applying to CS, I doubt if it counts..

    Anyway, thanks for your reply...

    Thanks again

One more doubt. You have suggested few colleges among which UCSB, UCSD cost around $35k while ohio state, univ of Minnesota are much less(Source: usnewsranking.com). Is there a good reason for choosing the former colleges in regard to funding/placements etc.
