Hey friends,
I have a problem with my name on the identification documents and with my name i registered during GRE registration. Well i have already booked a slot for this july end.
In my Passport my name reads like this - "Srinivas Ambati Venkatesh"
where as while registering for GRE i have given it as "Srinivas A Venkatesh".. ie i havent expanded my middle/surname.
Will this be a problem during GRE exam or when applying for universities??
Even if I am allowed to write GRE, its good but will i face problems during the application and admission process. Also i have to register for TOFEL now. So Shall i register to TOFEL with the name as in passport or the name in GRE grade card??
Please help me out friends. I have very less time to apply.

Thank you for contacting the GREŽ Program.
Dear Srinivas,
Regarding your inquiry:
When registering for a GRE test, your first (given) name and last (family) name are required fields. You may indicate your middle initial on your registration, but it is not a required field.

This reply form them is of no use. So i called my test centre. They convinced me that it is not a problrm and i ll be allowed to write the test.. I am scared if they turn the table on test day.
And wil this be a problem during admissions?
