among ur lot, USC and UCI are quite within reach. USC would be safe actually!

well the others are gettable, but one cant say for sure. cuz it depends on others who apply with u...but on a general basis, UIUC, UCLA and UCB may be a little at ur higher reach...but i suggest u definitely try!

As for other unis, u can try northwestern, case western univ, Penn state, NCSU, Ga tech, OSU, U Washington etc.
check out http://www.msinus.com/electrical-enginering/1235.htm for info on univ shortlisting process

Akshay: Thank you. I'm very grateful for your help.

Actually, I've put the above universities(the one's I'd posted, and some of the ones you had mentioned) in the 'ambitious' category. The moderate ones are : NCSU, University of Florida, Iowa state, and Arizona state.

I would be grateful for your opinion on my choice of moderate universities.

What about University of Texas, Austin? Some of my friends have told me it's a good univ for my chosen branch, but I'm not sure exactly which category it would come under for me...

Actually u can get even some of the A grade colleges if u manage a 320+ score....

For your current profile, most A- colleges would be within reach
