Hi Pritam,
Thank you so much for your reply.
If I increase my gmat to around 700 will I have chance in top 5 to top 15 schools?

Radhika Nair
Hello Radhika,
getting in to the top 20 universities does not depend only on your GMAT score. There are many other factors that are taken into consideration while granting an admit. And even if you do not get in to the top 20 universities it does not mean that it wil be the end of the world for you. I have friends who graduated from schools which does not even belong to the top 100 schools and have landed with jobs which pays around $70k. It all depends how hard you study and try for jobs. So do not worry about ranking. However getting in to the top schools is always good. Your GPA is good and if you raise your GMAT above 700 then definitely you would give yourself a very strong chance to get into the top schools of US. Why do not you also try schools in Singapore such as NTU and NUS. Those are great schools and you migh try there.
Hi...Plz Help me
My Gmat score is 670, TOFEL - 110
B.tech - 66 %
2 yrs of IT work exp in capgemini.
PLz tell me which in University i shld apply for ???
Hi Aditya,
Even I am in the same boat. I have been researching a lot on top schools and have found that with an IT experience of just two years it is quite tough to get in.The engineering pool is the highest from India. You have a chance if you have an extra ordinary extra curricular activities which you can highlight .No harm in trying though....check business week/ Forbes ranking and check the the gmat score and class profile of each college and apply accordingly.Take care.
Hi,
I need to do MBA from top 20 universities, can you tell me what is the minimum number of years required for work experience?
HI Arpit,
It depends on the richness of your experience. Quality is important. The average for the top 20 US schools are 4 years to 5 years. But if you are a dynamic person who has had many promotions managed a lot of people like in 3 years even that would do. It really depends on how you market yourself rather than the years. They look at your overall profile too. But only if you have variety of experiences you will be able to write your goal based essay.:-)
Hi Radz -
so which universities you suggest at this time ?
doing MBA from US needs hell lot of investment....
