Hi All,
I recently got an admit for MS in Chem Engg for Fall 2012 at Mississippi State University. They have however asked me to take up two English Language Courses (6 more credit hours ) which i believe is because of my low GRE Analytical Score (3.5).
The reason of my applying to this university were that they are doing research in the field of my interest (alternate energy sources) and secondly since I was late in applying (did all my application in March as I gave my GRE in Feb) ; I had only few options left.
I have searched through many forums and posts but could not get anybody who is either studying there or is an alumunus of that Institute. I want to know that how is the university in terms of its reputation, job scenario, research etc..
Also, I have another admit from Syracuse at the moment for MS in IM. I know the two fields are poles apart but I guess I have interest in both and would be able to cope up well in both the fields..I would appreciate any suggestions on career paths post these courses and past experiences of seniors.

P.S. : Still awaiting reply from LSU, Baton Rouge
