Do i have a decent chance if apply by end of august for TAMU?
I doubt it...ur gre is lower. Plus they tend to prefer IIT, nit and bits ppl....USC has decent chances and gatech too is mod actually....but tamu is very tough....u could still apply :-) one over knows!
i also wanted info abt how to give details abt paper presentations and publications in the sop..do we just have to give the name of the paper?
how do the admissions office ppl or the univ administration look into these papers?
U can say tat u got interested in xyz topic, and then published a paper on it in abc journal...if they want to, they can check it up
these are my papers:
1.A DSP-BASED ON-LINE UPS in ICSIA 2011
2.RFID technology and its appications for detection of removal of fish plates in train tracks(IOSRJEN) journal
3.Remote controlled home automation system for diferent network technologies in IJCER journal
4.power conservation vlsi circiut(IEEE conf)yet to publish
5.robust approach for palm (roi)extraction in plamprint recognition system(IEEE conf)yet to publish
can yo tell me re these quite impressive?
The golden rule is - everything goes!....as long as its not just some small inter college paper, u can definitely mention....wats important here is to show tat u have interest and also capacity to do research....
