the thing is, for core electrical, ur TCS job may not add much value. Anyways, for ur profile :-

    TAMU - ambitious
UBC - Ambitious (but canadian admits are erratic. if u can get a prof to guide u, then admit guranteeed)
    U Mass - mod
    UFL - mod
UMCP - gettable (ents is supposed to be not very competitive to get into)
    UTD - safe

    VTECH - Ambitious
    NCSU - mod/Ambitious

Well meng might not need a prof....but still admits are decided only by them. The thing is, even if one is a Nobel laureate, if a prof doesn't have vacancies, its hard to get in....but then again, its not impossible to get in...I have an average profile and I got through to McMaster, Calgary and Ottawa along with the US admits....so lets wait and see :-)

Ents is a good course. Just tat many dont apply, hence may be less competitive...

Ncsu is exceptional for embedded. But ur other courses are very very good too....

Then you think I should apply to more Canadian universities like McGill, Alberta and such??

McGill, Alberta are competitive....they may require u to have some research exposure/publications etc...maybe projects and stuff....things to show tat u have exposure....
