    need good universities for ms in VLSI

    Hi everyone,
    My GRE is 1310(V-590, Q-720,AWA-2.5) and IELTS -6.5 (l-6.5,R-5.5, W-6.5, S-7) with ACADEMICS-70% in Electrical Engineering.
    I would Prefer to take VLSI (Electrical)..

    Can you please suggest me some universities for vlsi??

    ur AWA is quite low and may cause slight probs later one. As for unis, there are quite a few! Oregon state, U Mass amherst, U Minn TC, UNCC etc...search on a few and post them here.

    1. portland state university
    2. NYU poly
    3.IOWA state university
    4. Lsu Baton rogue
    5. U Mass- Amherst
    6. university of missouri- coloumbia
    ...

    VLSI and Nanotechnology/nanoelectronics

    i am interested in doing my masters in Nano-electronics .. The US univ donot have a course especially named nanotechnology/nanoelectronics ..
    how should i apply in it then ?
    should i apply in electronics/VLSI and then choose a subject as nanotech ? or what ?
    i know its a stupid question but its bugging me since i thinking to apply for MS in US !
    and which all univs are good for Nanotechnology !

    my profile
    will start 7th sem in aug'12 .
    branch - EEE
    Aggregate till 6th sem 75.2%
    international publication - 1
    seminar -1
    Doing 2 month training in National Physical Laboratory , Delhi .
    active IEEE core team member in college
    active in co-curricular activities too
    will give GRE in aug'12

    I am new to all this ..
    please help me !

    Actually, I'm not sure actually sure. U could ask maximus199...or another idea is, visit the websites of the electrical departments. See the course curriculum....if not, u can just email lotta professors and ask them how to proceed. They-d gladly oblige!

    I was thinking about nano electronics too once. A prof told me that I could look at microelectronics and take up nano as one subject...
