Thread: Profile Evaluation(MS In CS) for Spring 2013

Please evaluate my profile for MS in CS and suggest some universities where i could get funding/assistantships

10th -90.6%
12th--90.5%
B.tech(Electrical and Electronics Engineering)--72.3%

GRE --1010 (Quant --670 , V ---340 ) AWA--3.0
TOEFL--80 (R-19,L-20 ,S-20,W-21)

I have 2 years of experience in an IT Company

Hi Sreddy, Your profile seems good but in GRE your quants as well as verbal, your TOEFL is also low. Chances of you getting admit completely depends on your aggregate and experience now but top universities might decline your application because of low Quants score. My advice would be to write GRE once again and try to get 750+ in Quants as it is mostly the thing looked in your profile evaluation. If you would have got 100+ in TOEFL then you could have asked for assisstantship but that's not the case here. All the Best!
