Thread: GOT VISA IN CHENNAI ON JUNE 1St

My interview appointment time was at 7:45 AM.After taking finger prints and all i have waited for 20 mins.

I stood in the line and already VO is interviewing a person . Unknowingly I went and stood back of him . VO was like " excuse you are supposed to stand behind the line"....giving 2 ft space from the person who is getting interview....

soo next its my turn....

Me: with a simple smile...Good Morning Sir...( VO was like Tom cruise )
VO:Good Morning..Pass on your i20..
ME: passed
Vo:How many universities did you apply?
Me:3 sir....Univ of Findlay, St.Cloud state Univ,DBU ( actually i have got only one i20..where i was asked for WES for st.cloud state...wes is nothing but our undergrad marks will be converted into GPA.
Vo: what are you going to study
Me: Masters in business administration sir
VO: How did you come to know about this university?
Me:Sir, based on my profile i have selected few b shools where they are offering 1 year mba course.. so that i can finish my mba in one year and come back to India and handle my school ( we have a own school in the city sir )
Vo: interrupted and asked....what school and what is the strength
Me: told
Vo: ya i even heard that some of the b schools are not accepting..cool so..What is the undergrad percentage
Me: 58 % sir
VO: backlogs
Me:6( was about to say the reason but he didnt listen.)
VO:show me your undergrad certificate
Me:gave and sie you want me to show my under grad inidividual memos
Vo: No.. but tell me in which sem u got failed ...( he asked me to show in the main certificate by indicating his finger)
Me: showed all the 6 from 1st sem...
Vo: so 2nd class?
Me: yes sir ..
VO: show me your financial documents
Me: showed..and asked me to wait because he wants to ask few more questions...
VO: againa a question....how many universities?
Me: 3 sir and anmed them...
Vo: how much liquid cash?
Me: XXXXX lask told..XXXX USD
Vo: ok iam approving u visa..ul get in 1 week...OMG.....
Me: Thanku sir Thanku so much .......i took t and left smiling...

Hey, Did you prepare for the question as to why you got less percentage?? even I have a second class and i'm not able to think of a convincing answer to tell the VO if he/she asks me why I got less in undergrad.. because I have 88% in 10th and 68% in 12th.. any suggestions as to what could be a good answer??
