    i'll consider ur options,but as i'm applying for spring---ohio SU isn't available,utah isn't available.i think UMASS AMHERST isn't available for spring,i'll check once and many people who studied in US said try to join in bay area(california region) as they have more companies,what should i do????either apply for more univ in dat region or i should apply to overall gud univ?????

    Californian region has a locational advantage, but not true always. When it comes to universities like UMASS,OSU locational advantage don't come into picture. Career fairs are organised in every universities, companies do come. Good gpa & good networking always works wonders in here. So, i suggest u to opt top universities than bay region.
    From bay region: ( good for vlsi & within ur reach)
    -UC santa barbara---->ambi
    - UC irvine--->mod/ambi
