The RMAT 2011 comprises 200 multiple choice questions with four alternatives. The best answer is chosen and shaded in the OMR sheet using ball point pen. The incorrect answers do not carry any negative marks .The total time duration of the RMAT is 150 minutes.

General awareness


Each section carries 40 marks and the total is 200 marks. The questions in the papar is in English.

Reasoning and aptitude:
In this section,it consists of aptitude and reasoning questions. The aptitude questions determines the logical and analytical skill of the candidate where as the reasoning questions analyses the reasoning ability of the candidate.

Data analysis and interpretation:
This section focuses on the ability to interpret or present the data in a different and efficient manner. For example, it consists of the questions like fill in the blanks of a particular topic where the candidate is expected to fill his best choice of the same field in the left blank .

Mathematical ability:
This section deals with mathematical set of questions. The students should focus on integration, differentiation, probability, ratios and proportions, percentage and so on.

English language proficiency:
This section deal with the set of vocabulary improving questions. It comprises only the synonyms and antonyms.

General awareness:
It comprises general set of questions which probably includes politics, sport, history of philosophers, kings and so on.
