    Profile Evaluation for spring 2013

    GRE score 306(q-161, v-145, AW-3.5)
    Toefl-103
    67% aggregate in Pune Unversity, Electronics and Telecommunication

    1 year experience in IBM. I am planning to apply for EE in

    1)Arizona State Univ
    2)Texas A&M College Station
    3)NCSU
    4)Georgia Tech, Atlanta
    5)University of California, San diego
    6)Virginia
    7)University of Florida,
    8)Purdue.

    try for a good LOR and SOP. these can try to offset ur slightly low UG score.

    ASU - gettable
    TAMU - quite ambitious
    NCSU - moderate
    Ga TEch - mod to ambitious
    UC SD - u may stand a chance
    V tech - same as above
    U florida - good chances
    Purdue - quite fickle. but u may get it.

    Are u sure about uc sd and Purdue? Cuz few of my batchmates with similar profile but academics at 70 and 72 have gotten admits.

    Thank You for replying.

    My GPA is 3.5/4. In Pune University this percentage is considered good. But i am still afraid of getting admission in a good college.
    I am looking forward to do MS in VLSI or embedded systems. Please suggest me some good universities in Embedded.

    Is my selection of universities appropriate??
    I also wanted to know whether i can apply for a Phd course because i heard that fees for a Phd course is much less then MS.
