well arun, ur ug mark is a little low. and since ur applying for EE dept, ur work exp wont help much...IEEE papers definitely add value.
Among the unis u've told, u stand decent chances in the last 2. Kansas may be a little tough.
Thank you very much Akshay for spending ur valuable time replyin me.. Is it worth giving GRE again? if i get a score of 320 , Does it make the chances of getting univ of kansas easy?

Your gre is fine...and a higher gre would make it only slightly easier....cuz a gre is NO way a measure of engineering ability. Its just10th std maths and good English.
Akshay my worry is analytical writing got very less 2.0. wasnt prepared well.
I would suggest u to retake GRE, coz top uni look into ur gre scores more..
all are decent unis, try to add some ambi unis.
Whoa! That's a low awa...retake ur gre...analytic writing is a measure of how cohesive ur thinking is. It gives importance on how well u analyse facts and present ur findings - very important traits as engineers/researchers....take ur gre again.
GRE is the only option left as i dont hv a better academics..Thnx maximus n akshay for ur suggestions.
