verbal :157 quant: 167
10th: 81% 12th:83%
BE: 9.2/10 cgpa
2yrs work exp in analog/mixed signal design
final yr project competed as finalist at a reputed design contest
no paper publications
what are my chance with the follwing univs??
and which of them r gud 4 analog??

Ur profile is very good. the work experience. I'll assume u've scored around 105-110 in toefl.


See, none of the top unis are "safe" as such no matter how good ur profile. But many are within reach if u can submit very very good LORs and a good SOP.

Gatech - moderate (but competition of apllicants may throw u bk a lil cuz lotta ppl with research apply)

CMU - mod/ambitious

Purdue - good chances

Cornell - gettable ambitious

Austin - ambitious (competition is very high)

TAMU - tough (they seem to be IIT, NIT, BITS centric. but u can apply if ur coll is among the 3)

Michigan - very good chances

UCLA - mod

Vir tech - good chances

U wisconsin - a little erratic. but u can try

Minesotta - within reach

I would suggest u try Oregon state. Its supposedly the best for analog vlsi. and with ur profile u can get it (maybe even manage some aid)

Well depends on univs....but frankly anything and everything will add value!
