ms in mechanical engg.(usa)

I want to do ms in mechanical engg. from Usa . My gre is 308 and toefl is 86 but i have low cgpa(5.4/10). I have participated in lots of extra curricular activities . Currently i am pursuing B.E. in Mechanical Engg. from a prestigious university in North India. Please suggest me universities in usa . I want to upgrade my profile and want to exceed in my field so i want best state university i can. Can i convert my branch into Aeronautical or Aerospace Engg.?? Please suggest me for this subject also. I want to apply for Sept. 2015 intake.I have done 4 projects under supervision in 6 month training from industry. I will be very thankful to you if you can help .
