Is Income tax return mandatory

Hi,
I am Sridhar , My Daughter is in the process of applying for F1 Visa.

I have worked in Tata's for 20 years and 3 years in US. Came Back to India Did Business for 4 years Now I have retired
My age is 52. I have sufficient balance in Bank to Sponsor my Daughter's Education.

Fi Visa Requirement States Sponsor have to produce Income tax statement.

As Per Indian Income tax Rules Those who earn less than 1.8 lakhs need not File for Income Tax.


So Will my daughter be denied Visa on account of not producing Income tax statemt of Sponsor
