Well regarding the future of automation, there is a lot to be done yet. What we see today is merely a speck of what autonomous devices are capable of, so instinctively the future is pretty bright. But looking at the darker side you might realize that job opportunities in this field with the present scenario are restricted. So its up to you to decide whether you would like to invest in your future or take a safer bet speculating the present conditions.
