Hi Seniors,

Need Help...Please evaluate my Profile for University Selection.
My target is to come up with 4 safe+4 Mod+2 Ambi

GRE: 316 (168q [97%], 148v [36%]) AWA-3.0
TOEFL- Yet to give (28th Oct)

Academics:
10th- 93% (State 15th Rank)
12th-83%
UG: ECE from VIT University,Vellore
CGPA: 9.1/10 (Topper's CGPA:9.7) (I was in the Top 25 of the University)

Department Applying: EE ( Telecom/Networking/Wireless NW/DSP). But i will be looking for more telecom/Networking Universities as my current working domain is Telecom.

Work exp.: 2.5 years of working exp with Ericsson. Working as WCDMA planning and optimization engineer. Resposible for AT&T pre launch and post launch optimization.

Projects/Papers:
1) DSP: “EFFICIENT AND SECURE IMAGE TRANSMISSION OVER WIRELESS CHANNEL”. Paper was presented in national level conference.
2)Networking Project:Assessing readiness of IP networks to support desktop videoconferencing using OPNET.
3)Robotics: Won and got the best design award in a national level tech fest competition “Botodile”. Robot was able to float on water surface and completed the required distance in minimum time without hitting side objects and the designed robot was remotely controlled.
4)Working model designed-Multipurpose listening device and Mobile bug.
5) No paper publication.

6 week inplant training in RAJASTHAN ELECTRONICS AND INSTRUMENTS LTD. ,A Govt. of india Enterprise ,JAIPUR ,RAJASTHAN (this company mainly produces agro dairy products and solar panels)

Extra/Co-Curricular:
1)Currently associated with “Shades of happiness”, a volunteer driven organization, working to raise the standard of education among poor and slum kids.
2)Organized events in national level Tech fest in college.
3)Active member of ISTE students chapter.
4)Participated in 7day course on ‘source coding of speech images and video’ organized by VIT and was given by Dr. Ing Manfred gotze (Germany).
