Good afternoon, i am an prospective applicant from Nigeria and i intend furthering my education in the United States. Please I need your candid advice as regards the way to process my application
I applied sometimes ago to Canada and it flopped. So I really need someone that can help put me through.

I got a supervisor before i proceeded to apply to University of Victoria, BC and he instructed me to apply for my graduate studies quoting him as my supervisor which i did. after my application i contacted him via mail to inform him, only for him to tell me again that he already had enough students. Though the application is still pending and i have not heard anything from them despite all the mails that i had sent to them.
I wont give up, so i need a university in the United States or Canada where i can further my education at Master's level. I had a bachelor's degree in Electrical and electronic engineering with a good grade from a reputable Nigerian University. If there is any way you can be of help, i will appreciate it
Ah, well Canadian admits can be fickle...if ur score is good and from a reputed univ, then why not try unis like Toronto, Waterloo, British Columbia, Alberta, Calgary or Ottawa?...there generally the system was tat in the application I had to name 3 profs tat I'd like to work with....for ottawaw I wasnt asked tat too.
As for US, well emailing them or naming a supervisor isnt necessary....for a FALL session send applications by October - December of previous year, along with transcripts etc....then sit back and wait :-)
