hey hai me too got da same in new pattern of 283/340,i`m also planning for ee,did u apply for any universities if so can u list them.
you can apply to Rochester institute of technology.....since they have high acceptance rate..........but no guarantee of scholarship....what are your quant and verbal breakups , AWA score and TOEFL scores???
i got 300/340.........Q=155 v=145...AWA 2.5 ... TOEFL not appeared yet...
verbal-137,quants-146,i gav my xam on 24th still i dnt get awa score.
rochester?? Dont...its high acceptance, but is competitive too.
155+ in quant and verbal is ok. But 2.5 in AWA is low...u'll hv to make up with ur writing in TOEFL.
best is to check MS in US - Profile Evaluation for MS in US, PhD
Also, if u want aid, then best is to apply for unis tht are below ur profile (so tht, for them u seem a good contender)
divyasri,
I`m still in search of universities for my profile,do you have any idea about the univerities??????let me know
In TOEFL i need more than 100 then only i'll get financial aid.....my councillor has given following universities......These are good enough universities ...
Universities give by my councillor :::
california state university long beach
cleveland state university
southern illinois university Carbondale
university of louisiana at Lafayette
university of Mississippi
wichita state university
old dominion university
portland state university
these are the universities where I'll get admission and scholarship ....Just have a look if any one is interested....
hey adityas and akshay,
could you pls suggest me some of the universities in which i can get admission????????????based on my profile mentioned above.thank you guys.
surekha, u could try the profile evaluation site here in msinus.com itself.
there are LOADS of unis. pick them out in batches of 10 and keep posting them on various forums. ask opinions. then build ur list. Choosing a uni depends on many things
- ur UG score
- gre
- toefl/ielts
- course
- tuition fees
- cost of living
- availability of part time jobs etc
so get a hold of the last 4 points and start making lists. then refine them
