Hi, I will be attending a University in Queens, NY but I plan to land in Washington D.C. as my sister lives there. Can I do the same? Are there any additional documents required for it? If I am asked why I have headed to a new destination instead of the university location, is it acceptable to say that I am here to stay with my sister and tour places close by before my course commences. Thanks!
If we already student in US and went for vacation to India and coming back to US.what are the questions they are going to ask in port of entry.
Hello, I got admitted into a university for spring-2017 and mandatory orientation date is given as 4th Jan. However, I will not be able to attend the orientation due to my brother's wedding and confirmed with the university that it's okay to not attend the orientation and enroll to the classes before the classes begin date. Could you please let me know if there will be any problem at the immigration if I enter US after the orientation date given on the I20. However I will be able to enter before the last date to enter the US given on I20 Thanks so much for your help Regards Preethi
