I thing more i want to ask is about California State University at LA. How is it? They also provide a 2yr MIS Prog. Do i stand any chance of getting in this Univ.?
Thanks a a lot buddy. I mailed to the MIS Deptt of University of Florida regarding my chances of getting admission in their Univ. and the Director (a lady) replied that i had a good chance of getting through and asked me to apply if i want to. Also she told that minimum GRE they consider is 293. (NOW WHAT CAN I INFER FROM THIS?) --> Then i talked to University of South Florida. They said its good enough to be considered. --> Pennsylvania State University- said the same as USF. I studied on UTD's site that they require GRE 320 for MS in Information Management. **jindal.utdallas.edu/prospective-students/admission-requirements/ Can u plz have a look on it. I am also in touch with some other Univ. as well. Will let you know with the updates. Again, thanx a lot man. Please let me know if any more suggestion as i still have 15days with me before i apply.
Hello sid_roy09 You have a decent profile with good work experience. You have a good chances of getting University of Texas, Dallas. One of my friends got admit for Fall 2013 who has almost similar profile( Gre: 302, Toefl: 89, Work Exp: 2 years at Dell). 1. University of Florida - Amb 2. University of South Florida - Mod 3. Pennsylvania State University - Amb My suggested universities for your profile: University of Alabama, Huntsville - Very good university, also had good research for Cs, also situated in a good location. Apply George Mason University - Safe Polytechnic University (NY)- Mod University of Houston, Main Campus -Mod SUNY- stony brook - Less chances, but good university Oklahoma State University- Safe/Mod (In between) If you retake GRE, it will be very good thing, and try to reach 310(try to get 150 and above in Verbal) Cheers, Satya!
