As you have somewhat low GRE score, you have low chances of getting visa approved. You need to have a strong reason, when VO asks, "Why low GRE?". If you have a good Toefl. i.e., 100 or above, you ll be in safe side. It ll be helpful. But you must prepare a good reason for Why low Gre.. So all the best for your Toefl! Choose atleast 2 safe, 2 or 3 Mod, 1 or 0 Amb universities at the time of applying! Cheers, Satya!
thank u for ur reply i had shortlisted this universities university of dayton michigan tech university university of oklahama university of alabama sourthern illinois university r these coll r safe ,mod,amb and u said gre scores can create a problem in visa interview so what type of problem can be arised wat about if i score good marks in TOEFL will it compensate the gre score i scored thank you
Hello vidhyadharan You have a good CGPA. My suggestion would be to retake GRE and get above 300. Then you ll get into a good graded university. If you apply with this score, you could land into a less graded university and also this score could be a problem for you at the time of Visa Interview. So try to book your slot as soon as possible and get the par score in GRE. Universities for your present GRE score: University Of Arkansas - Little Rock California State University - Fresno Boise State University - Boise Northern Kentucky University - High land heights University of New Hampshire - Durham Gannon University Texas A & M University - Kingsville Fairfield University - Fairfield This are not that great universities for your profile!!
