I am pranab currently working in Oman as an Electrical Engineer for past 3 years ,i want to pursue my master in Electrical Power System in US . Does any one suggest the scope of this program in US and please suggest some good university too . I have 7.19 CGPA in my BE from Karunya University Coimabtore. I did my 12th from Shiva Jr College AP with 60 % . i ahve 56 % in 10th . I also took a short term course in Switch Gear protection from SIEMENS . Took a short term course from OPTCL in High voltage transmission . Does my profile good enough to get a admission in A or A+ university . Please suggest some good university where i will fit . I am in final yr now and my profile goes like this,

GRE : 292(Q156, V136) (going to write again on 20th sept.)
10th:73%
12th:86%
Acads(BE/ECE): 70%.
Presented paper in about 5 colleges.
Some of my dream univ are UTD USC NYU.
Please suggest my as to how much should i get in my gre so as to be sure of getting in these univ. Also 1 thing which is bothering me a lot is that i hav 3backlogs. Wil it debilitate my chances of admission. Please guide me here.
