If anyone's currently studying at NYU, can you please give an insight on the living costs? For housing, this is the information I've gathered: rent in Manhattan and nearby areas is $1k-1.5k. So, students usually stay in jersey city or queens. I want to know what're the costs in these areas and if it's easy to get housing for 300/ month. What about commutation from these places to NYU? expensive?
