Hey all, Anybody here who got admit from IIT for Fall 2012 for MS in CS ? If so, anyone trying/tried for RA/GA or any other funding opportunities in IIT ?
People already got replies for fall 2012?? i'm waiting for a reply. I am also applicant of MS CS.
@ Meghana Did you receive I-20 ? How much is your estimation? Mine is somewhere around 23K $ per anum. @ MadMax Yea, i got my admission letter in last week of November.

@yeshes : Your estimate is just 23k ?? I applied for EE dept, and my estimate is $ 35k per year !! Did u get any financial assistance ??

Hi all, Applied for MS in CS but have been admitted for Professional masters(mcs).Mentioned in letter that department cannot provide any financial assistance at this time.Also,mentioned to show $34,342 per year as the amount in the financial docs to get the i20. Have checked the net and seems since 2003 there had been hardly any kind of financial aid in the form of assistantships at all and an admit to professional masters definitely eliminates even the slightest chance of assistance.Oncampus jobs are few and competitive due to huge presence of desis.Previously ppl could cover there tution fees by co-op/cpt/internship after 9 months into the course(not sure of the current scenario though). To alumni/seniors and anyone knowing well about IIT,Chicago: 1) How are the oppurtunities of co-ops/internships here. 2) How are the post ms recruiters fairs.In Yahoo Answers,there was a reply of year 2007 that most companies for the fair are consultancies and not technology firms.Could anyone mention hows the current scenario?

i got admit ti iit chicago not received i-20 yet.... major is masters in mis. i also got admit from 1) eastern michigan univ 2) uhcl likely to get into florida international univ can any one help me with university selection and also, i wanna know how is iit chicago i guess the tution fees is very high. in that case, its better to get a scholarship how are the chances of scholarship?? i want to contact some one who is doin masters in ITM program at iitc.
