My 6th university is Southern Illinois University ... I donot want to go to the western side of US, mostly looking towards central and eastern side. and My TOEFL score is 97...

Out of UNCC, UML, NJIT which can i Opt if i get admit into these... ,as CSU & SIUC are safer options..

Congrats for the admit, indeed a great admit. ECE dept is pretty decent, since ur a Phd student u have better chance of getting funding. Charlotte is a beautiful place to live. Try to maintain ur gpa as high as possible. These days its been hard for a international student to get H1b sponsorer, so only way to get a job is to keep ur gpa high, internships, publish papers & most important, try to work under a reputed guide. Keep some contants with the alumni.
Visa:- try to be truthful, give a proper reason for opting UNCC & be confident...

Just got acceptance letter from Utah State Uni for MSEE ( fALL 2012).. i am immensely happppppy... Funding award is still awaited ,,,Can you please give me remarks about masters and phd studies at UTAH ?? How you rate Utah for completing my PhD studies ??
As far as I have visted the webiste I have come to know that its students are least in debt and it is not expensive ? I dun know about its environment and research activities? Can you throw some light please?????

Even USU is a reputed uni. I don have much idea about that place. Regarding research, u can check their website or mail the professors or any student there telling u r a prospective phd student, they'll help u.
