    Having a low GRE score doesnt mean that you wont get admissions in US Universities. There are lot of Universities accepting Low GRE score of around 280 to 290 and even 270.

    Universities for Low GRE Scores

    Few of these schools became popular since this Spring and Fall 2014 as my consultancies sending student to these universities. Some of these schools have high tuition fee and low standards of education. Be careful when choosing these schools. Try to retake GRE and score above 300 to get admission into decent universities if you want to experience fine US Educational system. These are the last options if all other options dried out.

    Following Schools are suitable for Academic Percentage 50% - 60% and GRE Score of 280-290. Please check university website for TOEFL/IELTS requirements.

      I heard that Texas State University, San Marcos required minimum 300 score in gre.
      Is it true?

      Ielts - 7.5
      Btech aggregate is 66%. (No backlogs)

      my gre score is 285 . 139 q n 146 v. BE aggregate 60% n 6 backlogs all cleared. 10th std 85% and 12th std 66%. want to do ms in power systems. pls tel me what shoud i do? shud i retake my gre or shal go wherevr i get i am confused...n worried

      Hiii.. I've scored 286 in GRE and 6.5 in IELTS.. Can you suggest me few good universities..?? I've got 73% in BE with no backlogs.. 10th 80%, intermediate 75%.. I want universities mostly in California..

      # If you want pursue masters in Electrical or Computer Engineering IIT, Chicago is the best choice and it's ranked between 150-200 as per QS 2015 ranks in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering and ranked #74, among Grad School Engineering Universities as per US News Report. And more over it's Career Employer Strength is very good as it's located in Chicago.
      # Next choice would be Wright State University, ranked #124 in US News Report among Grad Schools for Engineering
      # The last one would be University of Houston, Clear Lake, because it's location is an added advantage.
