OPT students from India who finished masters usually join a consultancy(when they didn't get full-time job) after completion of masters program in USA. Consultancy forces them to submit a fake resume to client with 6 or 7 years of experience to get into work quickly and to get high billing rate.

US Clients don't do background check of consultants joining with them properly. That's where the loophole is. IT Consultancies make use of this opportunity to send consultants to projects with fake resume.

Your client manager will easily understand you used a fake resume after working with you for couple of minutes.

If DHS come to know about using fake resume to get job, your visa status will be trouble. DHS may deport you from the USA and may put ban on you to enter into USA in future.

If your employer is forcing you to use fake resume, report it to USCIS or DHA or DOL.

I have work experience of 6 months in US IT Staffing. I just come up with following points:-
      1) Out of 10 resumes you received for a particular contract, 9 are fake.
      2) Most Employer present their consultant as H1b, but actually they are on OPT.
      3) 90% job seekers had this first line in resume "7+ years experience", Meanwhile they are just having around 3-4 years genuine experience.
      4)

Yes you are right Ajay, almost 9/10 resumes are fake. But remember many families in India and many other countries are fed on those fake resumes. People are trying to get a job ASAP, so that they can make good living for the families back home. I have seen many students who come here and work their ass off for paying off the rents and their expences even after getting the "30% fee waiver" from the school.
Next time when posting something like this, first know why this is happening. If you have solution for such a situation, then come up and raise it. No offense but,we all share same country brother, share those poor kids future too.

Think of these points before blaming them.
1.How can you expect 5 to 6 years of experience from a recently passed out MS student
2.if you see the US market, every one asks for 6 to 8 years of exp
3.students come here and work hard by payings 30 to 50 k dollars for their studies and will be in so much debts to the banks.
4.I can show you a person with recently passed out MS graduate will have good knowledge and work better than 7 to 8 years of dumb fellows.(I am not pointing out every one).
5.If US companies hires fresh graduates,no student will put fake exp or resume.
6.People are not doing deliberatley, the situation demands for them to do it,just don't blame for the situation.US companies are also doing business with this.Eventualy students are the ones who are victims.
7.Every one learns on Job,no one has good knowledge when you are not on job.Education provides discipline on how to manage and how to do.
8.US industry should come up with solution for this and encourage MS graduates or Graduates to apply for entry level jobs.

Mr. Unregistered, you are talking as if coming to America and studying is the only option that these students have. Instead of working their "ass off for paying their rent" in an alien country that they can never belong to legally, why not stay in their own country and work equal amount of ass and make their lives and pay for their families expenses? Have you seen anybody working their ass off in Indian corporations? Employees are the laziest people that our country has. There are no work ethics, no professionalism, no punctuality, no accountability, no zeal to learn skills when they are working in India for an Indian organization. But when it is blue-green eyed, blond boss whether in India or America, he will work his "ass off. Don't be a hypocrite and start justifying the fraud that is happening and dont encourage the students to continue seeking refuge behind this fraud, If they are caught they will thrown out.

This is incorrect. Actually uscis employees were just sleeping in their desk. Atleast in my and nearby other projects i can find at least 10 peopke who were freshera but joined as 5 to 6 years experienced.
If they were eliminated then only real talents will get chances.

I know so many people who claims to have work experience of 7-8 years but they dont even know how to open word document. USCIS do not do a good background heck while issuing H1B. If this is a serious problem then why USCIS is just shutting its eyes and ear.

Its all about perspective. In my opinion, I don't want to do stuff for my family by telling a lie. So if you are fine after telling a lie too then cool go ahead. Some people can't sit peacefully after doing wrong.

You need to improve the system first before blaming the poor students who have no other option than to fake the resume becuase no jobs for entry level are available and this improvement of system should include stopping consultancy companies to do this activity as well as asking for entry level engineers instead of 6-8 for most of the jobs.
