Bank Balance required for US Universities
You should show readily available liquid funds when you apply to US Universities. You need to get a letter from bank manger as a proof of the bank balanceAmount to cover first year of expenses(tuition+fee+living expenses). It is better to show higher amount that the university requires. Suppose, if the estimated one year expenses at the university is 20,000 USD, better to show 30,000 USD as bank balance.

What needs to be stated in the bank letter?1) Your name
2) your sponsor name
3) Bank balance in currency at motherland.(example: INR)
4) Converted Bank balance in US Dollars (USD)5) Bank Manager Signature and Stamp.
6) Letter must be typed on Bank Letterhead.
