US Visa appointments Cancellation from June 22nd to 26th
Due to hardware failure in US Visa appointment system around june 9th caused delays in issuing visas and passport delivery. This issue interrupted issuance of US Visa across the Globe. Department of state cancelled all visa appointments at all Indian consulates - Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai. More than 100 computer experts from public and private sector are working on fixing this glitch.If you have scheduled visa appointment for OFC or final visa interview between June 22nd and 26th, it was automatically cancelled and you need to re-schedule it again for a date after July 6th.

Non-immigrant visa applicants waiting for Passport
Upon the restoration of visa services, applicant will be notified via email or SMS when your passport is ready for pick up. Once you receive our SMS, you may go to your Visa Application Center any day between the hours of 10:00 am and 3:00 pm to collect your passport.You can track the passport status online by visiting http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in/in-lo...collection.asp.
If you have imminant travel you can collect the passport by contacting support-India@ustraveldocs.com you will get your passport without stamping on it with administrative hold on your visa. You can collect the passport at Visa Application Center (VAC)
