I am here to introduce a good university for Masters in Computer Science.
The University of Massachusetts - Boston.
About the University:
It was a good and highly research public university with teaching soul.The computer science department has excellent faculty , each and every faculty has high grants from NASA, NIH and other federal organizations ,so we has a better opportunity to get funding.
Admission:
Getting admission into University of Massachusetts - Boston computer science solely depends on quantitative score and reasonable verbal scores i.e one should get 700(155 in GRE-R) in quantitative and atleast and above 300(138 in GRE-R) in verbal scores.And should have a reasonable percentage from 65% - 70%. These are all the main requirements for getting admission
Jobs:
University of Massachusetts- Boston, has vast departments and research institutes ,one can get an on-campus job easily in 10-30 days after they arrive and admitted to the university.They pay from $10- $13 for a maximum, and you can work for 20 hours a week.
Graduate Assistantships:
UMass- Boston supports graduate students with good range of assistantships.You have full tution waiver if you haven assistantship. It probably takes a semester for you to get a GA here and if your lucky you can get it in the first semester.And they also give you stipend along with tution waiver,from which you can support your living expenses...................... ........
